Preface Releases 2020 Strategic Plan, Lays Out Long-Term Roadmap for Equality Through Education

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Charting a long-term vision for sustainable success, the Preface Board of Directors has unanimously approved and published its 2020 Strategic Plan to guide Preface’s organizational development for years to come.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA. – In a unanimous vote of confidence, the Preface Board of Directors has approved for immediate release its 2020 Strategic Plan, reaffirming the Preface mission and vision for equality through education and early childhood literacy, with a multilingual twist.

Informed by best-in-class organizational planning techniques, the Strategic Plan highlights Preface’s fundamental focuses on Literacy, Community, and Opportunity while outlining Trends, Challenges, and Assets instrumental to long-term success. Additionally, the Strategic Plan outlines four primary goals and accompanying strategies with which external stakeholders and internal leaders can evaluate Preface’s success – namely, Creating Lifelong Literacy Impacts, Impacting the National Conversation, Inspiring Innovation in Other Arenas, and Building an Organization that Lasts.

“Especially in light of our exciting programmatic results and our rapid multi-state expansion over the last several months, we wanted to reiterate our commitment to creating lasting educational impacts in ways that all of our stakeholders could clearly and easily hold us to,” said Jonathan “JT” Wu, Founder & Executive Director of Preface. “When operating in the public sphere, accountability is crucial – especially for an organization like Preface that thrives on innovation and ingenuity. By publicly drawing these observable lines in the sand, we’re confident that we’ll be able to partner even more effectively with our supporters and allies on the ground to create brighter futures for the next generation.”
