FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Preface launches a no-cost donation partnership with the AmazonSmile Foundation, the philanthropic platform of Amazon, the world’s largest online marketplace.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA. – Preface’s multilingual literacy program has added yet another generous institutional supporter to its ranks, thanks to a new initiative launched alongside the AmazonSmile Foundation. Under the terms of the partnership, Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer, will now donate a portion of the purchase price of all eligible items bought through its online AmazonSmile platform – at no extra cost to the customer.
To start taking full advantage of this generous donation program, Preface supporters simply need to head to smile.amazon.com for all future Amazon purchases and choose “Preface Project Inc.” as their designated charity. AmazonSmile has the exact same offerings and prices as the main Amazon website – and comes with the added bonus of supporting Preface with every purchase.
“We’re beyond grateful to be partnering with community-minded leaders at Amazon to help make supporting the next generation easier than ever,” said Jonathan “JT” Wu, Founder & Executive Director of Preface. “It’s both humbling and inspiring to see the Preface mission of fostering opportunity through community empowerment continue to resonate with allies and supporters from all corners of our society.”
With Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday, and the broader holiday season right around the corner, Wu added that this new partnership is an ideal opportunity for supporters to continue enhancing the impact of the Preface mission through everyday actions – and at no additional cost.
