Lauren Sanchez

Lauren is passionate about improving access to quality education for youths, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Previously, Lauren served as a constitutent intern in the office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and also worked with Special Olympics International’s global youth development team to create opportunities for youths with disabilities to connect with their peers through sport.
The team captain of the Princeton University Varsity Lightweight Women’s Crew, Lauren also serves the Head Coach for a local Special Olympics training program based out of the Princeton University Boathouse.

An alumna of Patchogue-Medford High School, Lauren is pursuing an A.B. in Politics alongside certificates in American Ideals and Institutions and Values and Public Life at Princeton University.
