Elliot Tan

Having grown up in Manlius, NY, Elliot appreciates the impact education has on changing lives for the better. He is excited to bring his international background, work experience, and passion for teaching to Preface.

 

Following prior research tenures at PIMCO, Syracuse University, and the National University of Singapore, Elliot currently works at PGIM Fixed Income as an investment analyst on the Quantitative Strategies team, focusing on researching and developing data-driven trade ideas in the FICC space.

 

Elliot also has previous experience working with students as a computer science teaching assistant for the Johns Hopkins’ Center for Talented Youth program, and served as a math and reading tutor for Kumon - advising and mentoring numerous young students on a peer-to-peer basis.

 

An alumnus of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, Elliot graduated cum laude with a B.S.E. in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from Princeton University.
