Francesca Treglia

As a young girl growing up in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, Francesca developed a passion for reading that has since helped her in every facet of her life.

Francesca is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy where she earned her B.S in History and continued her passion of French language. Upon graduation, she Commissioned into the United States Navy, where she currently serves as a Surface Warfare Officer. Treglia has served onboard the USS BAINBRIDGE (DDG 96)  and is the recipient of multiple military awards to include the Navy Unit Commendation, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Global War on Terrorism, Expeditionary Service Medal, and the Navy Deployment Sea Service Ribbon.
 

Francesca currently serves onboard the USS FORT LAUDERDALE (LPD 28), as the Training Officer where she oversees the certification and event planning for over 20 Warfare Areas, 
training, and operational readiness of over 300 Sailors. Lieutenant Treglia is currently making
preparations to continue her Naval Service in Washington D.C.
